Had a short walk around these woods this morning – very pleasant!
Then visited Kersey, a pretty little village with a ford across the main street:
After lunch, Barney and I walked back to the cottage from Hadleigh
Tina and I had a good walk around the Polstead area today, collecting a few geocaches on route.
We also stopped here; an eclectic collection of trains and other railway bits
National Trust day today, visiting the Grange Barn and Paycockes – an interesting merchant house.
Another glorious day, though there was a frost again last night.
Gemma and I explored a different area today, collecting 19 geocaches on the way.
This one was in a large tree that had been struck by lightning; the inside is now hollow:
A lot of the walk followed a lovely path along the River Box.
Barney appreciated a drink and a cool down in a small ford, all very clean thankfully:
This was a nice area where we had a mid-walk break:
Walking in the sunshine along Dedham Vale today, and stopped for lunch at Flatford Mill
We walked to the pub in the village for an excellent lunch and beer.
And that was pretty much it for the day…
An early morning walk in the glorious sunshine from our cottage – the last of the daffodils…
