Suffolk Thursday

I’m off on a long walk this morning. Nice sunshine and not too much wind. Today is a chance for me to investigate some footpaths that I’ve not walked on before.
This is the view from my morning break:

Postscript

12.5 miles and a few geocaches later, I’m back enjoying a beer. It’s been a lovely day, with a wide variety of interesting paths to explore.

Suffolk Wednesday

A lovely sunny morning today, but by the time we got out, it had clouded over a bit.
We’ve been for a short walk along the River Stour near Nayland.

And are now recovering in the pub with a drink…

Suffolk Tuesday

It’s a reasonable day today, so we’ve walked to the next village for lunch.

Still a bit windy, but much nicer than yesterday!

The pub has good WiFi, so we’re catching up with the world..

Suffolk Easter Monday

Not a good start to the day with Storm Katie passing over, so we sensibly stayed in.
But the afternoon was better, so we investigated Raydon Great Woods. There didn’t seem to be much useful (or dry) access to the woods themselves, so we followed a disused railway line towards Hadleigh.

I then bravely walked back to the cottage across the fields – not a good choice as I was walking into the wind the whole time!
