Mooched around York for a while, then stopped off at Barley Hall. Interesting exhibitions, including various costumes from TV shows set in Tudor times.
Next, a lovely lunch and back to Lucy’s for supper.

We stop for a cuppa
After an excellent lunch, some shopping and a brief visit to the museum, we needed a rest. Sadly we had lost track of the time and the museum tea shop was shut, so we went to Second Cup.
Via M&S for some supplies before returning to Gemma’s for supper.

Goodbye to Tyson
Tyson went off to his new home today (in the snow!). He’ll be living with an 8 year old Labrador:
Despite the inauspicious start to his time here, he has turned into a really good dog and a wonderful companion – we shall miss him!
Two Dogs For Christmas
A bonus Christmas Break this year – Tyson had Toby to stay. We were not too sure how they would get on together, but in the end, they were fine.
It probably helped that the two dogs were fairly evenly matched – they loved playing “tug-of-war” with a stick:
