We stopped in this village on the way to Limerick. It had a Heritage Center (which seemed geared to coach parties of Americans), some nice thatched cottages, a ruined castle, and at one time, three different monasteries, one of which is now the main church.

Unfortunately, it was also tipping it down with rain, so we didn’t explore much more.
