This morning, we visited the nearby Schõnbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Hapsburg family.

It looks large, but is only two rooms deep… Very busy with tourists, and our tour was timed to the nearest minute.

No photos allowed inside, but imagine very grand rooms with lots of gold. Two different designs of LED candles though, one type occasionally flickered, the other type moved with air movements, just like a real one.

After the palace, we sat down to a coffee, an Apple Strudel, and a man demonstrating how they are made. Quite entertaining!
