Thursday Pub
Had excellent cod and chips in a canal side pub in Barbridge
And it’s still not raining, which is a bonus

After a slow journey on the motorways, we picked up Vagabond, and have moored up 1 mile away, though we did go through one lock..
Weather is nice at the moment – in fact, quite warm for Cheshire.
We’ll probably walk Barney to the pub later!
Campdowne – Closing Ceremony
Campdowne finished with a Closing Ceremony:
Which ended with the inevitable disco/dance/rave/whatever_it_is_called_these_days.
Far too loud for the older generation, but the rest seemed to enjoy themselves.

Campdowne – Activities
There were many activities available on site through the week, including Segway, Quad Biking, Climbing, Trapeze and various “High Ropes” activities:

We had a day out in Brighton on Wednesday

In the evening, there was a Winter Festival, complete with ‘snow’ and an ice rink

We had an afternoon doing Dragon Boat racing (fun, but wet!) and kayaking on Bewl Water:

The occasional thunderstorm kept us cool:

As part of the “Carnival” Day, we provided Morris Dancing lessons
