Phil left me to enjoy the view while he walked across to the other platform. He did wave, but not while I had my phone out.

Me enjoy a cable car?
I never thought I would enjoy a cable car ride quite so much! Very exciting, and more stunning views. Also, technology… Absolute heaven for Phil and me.
Our new home for the week
Just to prove we’re both here!
Ready for bed now, after supper and a drink on the terrace.
Looking forward to seeing more trains, boats and mountains.
A slightly different perspective…
Phil usually whips out his phone before I get the chance, so I tend not to take many photos. Today, though, there’s a nice one of himself and Rocco at the aforementioned castle, and on Monday I caught a sneaky one of a geocache find.
Fun at the conference
In the “digital zone” having a go at using video!
Off to a trainers’conference
I am spending the weekend near Stafford. During a brief lull between the train arriving and catching the shuttle bus, I have wandered into the park by the station – Victoria Park:
This is the River Sow.
Even more exciting machinery…
Amongst the carts and farm equipment was an old handcart. I think Guides today would still enjoy using one of these!
Easter table
After a lovely lunch yesterday, we opened presents in the garden. Delightful egg cups from Grandma!
Day Out 2
I have spent a very happy day watching Morris dancing. The odd pint of stout doesn’t go amiss either. Glad to see Gemma carrying on the tradition. Here are Blackadder preparing to begin dancing.
A Day Out to Stroud Wassail
I always enjoy seeing what’s on the fourth plinth as I pass by Trafalgar Square. I have seen this one before, but it was a nice pause on my way to Paddington to catch the train to Stroud.
