Just to prove we’re both here! 

After lunch, we got a coach to Glenfinnan and went to look at the railway viaduct. So warm in the sunshine! 

We then walked up to the station and caught a train back over the viaduct and down to Corpach. 

We’ve almost reached the top of Neptune’s Staircase – I’ve lost track of how many locks it was… 

We’ve just passed a rail and road swing bridge, and are starting to climb the staircase. 

A surprising number of spectators have now appeared. 

Just come in to the sea lock. 

More room in the lock chamber than I expected… 

We’ve had breakfast whilst sailing along Loch Linnhe towards Fort William. Fantastic scenery either side of us, and always changing. It was nice watching the dawn… 

After visiting the castle, we sailed back in Oban. A perfect day, calm seas and virtually no wind, even at the front of the ship (or is a boat? I’m never sure) 

We then walked up the hill to watch the sun set over Mull. 

Then after a quick pint, back for another lovely dinner. 

We are off to the Caledonian Canal today, and a visit to Glenfinnan.

We’ve spent the morning in Tobermory, a lovely peaceful fishing village. The weather is fantastic for the time of year.

We had a visit to the local distillery – very interesting!

We had a really nice meal last night, followed by a short stroll around Oban. 

This morning, we left Oban just as dawn was breaking, and are on our way to Tobermory, on Mull. Breakfast whilst watching the islands go by was really good.
